Travel advice: from 28 July people arriving to England and Scotland from Estonia are not required to self-isolate

24. July 2020 - 20:55

Today 24 July, the UK Department for Transport and the Scottish Government updated their lists of countries exempt from the requirement to self-isolate when travelling to England and Scotland. From Tuesday 28 July, travellers arriving in England and Scotland from Estonia are not required to self-isolate for 14 days.

The Devolved Administrations of Wales and Northern Ireland make their own assessments of the public health case for travel corridors and will update travel information on their websites accordingly. We recommend closely following their websites: https://gov.wales and https://www.northernireland.gov.uk

Further information on today’s decisions can be found on the website of the UK Department for Transport: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/update-travel-corridors and the website of the Scottish Government: https://www.gov.scot/news/quarantine-rules-lifted-for-five-countries
