Representatives of Estonian and Finnish foreign ministries hold regular political consultations

Today 15 December, Undersecretary for Political Affairs Rein Tammsaar was in Helsinki to meet with his Finnish counterpart Kai Sauer and hold regular political consultations. They covered key challenges of security in Europe, including transatlantic relations, Russia’s military build-up on Ukraine’s borders and hybrid attacks by Belarus. They also exchanged views on the role of the OSCE in security in Europe and the emphases of the Strategic Compass of the European Union currently being drawn up.
