“Today, the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our missions across the world are flying the rainbow flag to remind us that no one should be discriminated or persecuted for their sexual orientation or gender identity,” Tsahkna said.
The minister said the legalisation of marriage equality this year was a significant step towards a more equal society. “It allows our people to live more freely and happily,” Tsahkna said.
“Estonia continues to work on the international arena to make sure all people in the world can live safely without being subjected to discrimination and violence based on sexual orientation,” Tsahkna said.
