In a phone call with the German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu discussed cooperation at the UN Security Council. Germany is holds the presidency of the Security Council in July.
Maas briefed Reinsalu on the Franco-German plan for a European Union recovery fund. Reinsalu thanked Germany for its help in evacuating Estonian citizens.
They also discussed European and global security issues. The foreign ministers wished their peoples strength in fighting the coronavirus.
