Yesterday 7 April, a high-level virtual event was held, hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Eva-Maria Liimets and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau.
The forum focused on the cooperation opportunities of Estonia and Poland in entrepreneurship. States presented their innovative solutions that help attain the goals of a sustainable and safe digital society.
Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets said that today, as Estonia and Poland and are celebrating the centenary of their diplomatic relations, a decision was made to look to the future. “I am very glad that the economic relations between Estonia and Poland and increasingly close and varied. At today’s virtual meeting, we exchanged our smart ideas and experience in technological innovation, and we will continue cooperating on an even wider scale,” Liimets said.
Other participants included companies from the fields of smart cities, cybersecurity and drone technology, such as Cybernetica, Guardtime, EyeVi Technologies, Defsecintel and others from Estonia, and LUG Light Factory, Fudo Security, INTL Robotics, Polish Air Navigation Services Agency and others from Poland. The forum also included talks with experts and entrepreneurs, who could network to establish future relations.
