As from today, Chinese citizens can apply for a Schengen visa to travel to Estonia at VFS Global visa application centres in 13 Chinese cities in addition to Beijing and Shanghai.
The Estonian Ambassador in Beijing, Marten Kokk, welcomed Chinese travellers’ growing interest in Estonia in recent years and the tremendous increase in Schengen visa applications. “The newly opened visa centres are part of our efforts to facilitate travel to Estonia for the growing number of Chinese tourists and business operators. Last year, our embassy and visa centres received 55% more visa applications than the year before, and the past six months also show growing interest,” Ambassador Kokk said.
As of today, applications for a short-term Schengen visa can be submitted to VFS Global visa application centres in Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Jinan, Kunming, Nanjing, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Xi´an and Wuhan, in addition to Beijing and Shanghai.
