Foreign Minister Mikser is on a visit in Saudi Arabia

Today, Foreign Minister Sven Mikser will be in Saudi Arabia to meet with Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Adel al-Jubeir in Riyadh.

The foreign ministers will discuss bilateral relations and opportunities for closer economic relations. They will also discuss the situation in the region, including the Middle East peace process and the situation in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. Foreign Minister Mikser will introduce Estonian campaign to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the period 2020-2021.

Mikser is also going to have meetings with members of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council.

In Riyadh, Mikser is also going to meet with Head of the EU Delegation to Saudi Arabia Michele Cervone d´Urso. In the evening, Mikser will attend a reception hosted by the EU Ambassador to mark Europe Day.
