Foreign Minister Mikser to take part in NATO Parliamentary Assembly conference
Today, Foreign Minister Sven Mikser will attend the conference of NATO Parliamentary Assembly ahead of the NATO Summit taking place on 11 and 12 July.
On 11 and 12 July, Foreign Minister Sven Mikser will be in Brussels for the NATO Summit. Meetings of heads of state and government, defence ministers, and foreign ministers will take place in the framework of the summit. The meetings will focus on transatlantic unity and burden sharing, NATO’s defence and deterrence and cooperation between NATO and the EU. Also on the summit's agenda is a meeting with the heads of government of Georgia and Ukraine, and a meeting in the Resolute Support format.
NATO foreign ministers will meet with counterparts from Jordan, Tunisia and Iraq. The foreign ministers will focus on enhancing defence capabilities, projecting stability, and challenges emanating from the south.
