The visit of the delegation of the Estonian UN Security Council membership campaign team to Grenada ended with a meeting between Estonia’s special diplomatic envoy Margus Kolga and Grenada’s PM Keith Mitchell who also chairs the CARICOM e-governance and digital development task force.
In addition to discussing the UN Security Council membership campaign, regional and bilateral cooperation opportunities in developing e-governance were discussed. Prime Minister Mitchell had just arrived from a high-level e-governance conference of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union in Antigua and Barbuda where he had also met a delegation of the Estonian e-Governance Academy.
“It is nice to hear that Estonians are not only met in “every port of the world” but also at every digital technology conference,” Kolga said after the meeting.
