Information and communications technology cooperation

One of the main fields of cooperation with Qatar is information and communications technology. Several Estonian IT companies have actively sought cooperation possibilities in Qatar in the last few years, with the help of whom the Qatari national e-Governance Portal and the national system for proceedings related to electronic passports and ID cards have been created among other projects. In 2012, a consortium consisting of three Estonian IT companies was established for conducting activities with respect to Qatar.
