On October 19 and 20, the President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska will be in Tallinn for a state visit.
The purpose of the state visit is to strengthen cultural, economic and environmental cooperation between Estonia and Slovakia. The visit will largely focus on technology and e-solutions.
During his visit, the Slovak President Andrej Kiska will meet with Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and President of the Riigikogu Eiki Nestor.
The Slovak President will visit the e-Estonia showroom, the Tallinn University of Technology and its Innovation and Business Centre Mektory, and the Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, where the Presidents will participate in a panel discussion on start-up businesses and investments. He will also lay a wreath at the foot of the War of Independence Victory Monument.
Topics to be covered at the meetings include bilateral relations, the security situation in the region and the situation in Ukraine, as well as migration and other important topics.
The visit will end with a visit to the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence and the opening of an exhibition at the Museum of Occupations.
