Pope Francis will visit Estonia in September
Pope Francis, the head of the Roman Catholic Church, will visit Estonia for a day on Tuesday, 25 September.
During his visit to the Baltic States, the Holy Father will visit Vilnius and Kaunas in Lithuania from 22 to 23 September and Riga and Aglona in Latvia on 24 September. Pope Francis will arrive in Tallinn on 25 September.
The Pope will return to the Vatican after visiting Estonia.
You are invited to the briefing about the visit of the Holy See at the St Peter and St Paul's Cathedral, Tallinn, at 15:00 on 12 March.
The Apostolic Administrator of Estonia, His Eminence Bishop Philippe Jourdan, the Press Officer of the Estonian Roman Catholic Church Marge-Marie Paas and Director General of the State Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will give an overview of the visit of Pope Frances and provide information about accreditation and how to cover the event in general.
