Foreign Minister Mikser to meet EU colleagues

Tomorrow, 17 July, Foreign Minister Sven Mikser will attend the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels. The foreign ministers will discuss the implementation of the EU Global Strategy, recent developments in Libya and North Korea, and the situation in Iraq. The ministers will also discuss migration, particularly the situation on the Central Mediterranean Route.

Mikser will also take part in the meeting of NB6 foreign ministers (Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) taking place in the margins of the Foreign Affairs Council. 

On the same day, Sven Mikser as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, holding the rotating Presidency of the Council of the EU will chair the meeting of the EU-Uzbekistan Cooperation Council.  The Cooperation Council will discuss bilateral relations under the EU-Uzbekistan partnership and cooperation agreement.
